Sorry if this is a naive question. One of my friend intends to buy a modem for his PC 386. But he doesnot what kind of modem he should by. The modem is for connection the PC to the mainframe of his company for remote log in and some field data transferring. He is confused by so many different things like V32, MNP. What do they mean? Any help is welcome. Pleae email your reply, as I can not read news from this group. Thanks a lot, -Glenn
