[comp.dcom.modems] Old Racal-Vadic VA3451

maddog@athena.mit.edu (Matthew J Marjanovic) (11/16/90)

I just picked up an old Racal-Vadic VA3451 1200 baud modem (for free!),
but I don't have the instruction manual for it.

I've got it working (which is why this message is here), but I don't know
if it has any features like auto-dialing.

Could someone tell me if it has any such features, and explain what the
front panel switches do? (one is for speed selection, and the other
	is a three position for VO-voice, DA-?[originate], MA-??[answer?],
and a third (FA) is momentary contact)

[I'd also love to know what the dipswitches inside the case do,
if anyone has both the information and the time...]

Thanks in advance,
