Well folks, Maggie has stepped down. What did it take ? Thumbscrews perhaps ? And now Hurd and Major have stepped into the ring who will be the next Prime Minister ? I think the Queen should dissolve Parliment as is it clearly undemocratic to have the next PM elected by 300odd MPs and the current governing party clearly don't have a clear manifesto for anything. >What does this have to do >with comp.dcom.modems? Well, let's see. All the iron in the Iron Lady disturbs the Earth magnetic field. Thus, aircraft are forced into using satellite navagation systems more often. These, in turn, disrupt the twisted pair shielding in telephone cabling nearby, and lowers thruput on most news feeds.
