Does anyone know what the acceptable failure rate is for 2400 baud modems? I know 0% would be my acceptance rate, but what is the industries (if they even have such a thing)? To be more specific, the modems we have that are in question are 2400/1200/300 baud capable, full duplex, asynchronous, no error-control (actually turned off), standard RJ-11 wire connected dial-up modems (Racal-Vadic 2400VP).
