I have a problem that a site that I can call and do uucp transfers
can not call me and log in.
I have a T2500 rev 7 roms, he's using a tb+ rev 4 roms. I can call
him, and uucp transfers do fine.
He calls me, and the modems seem to train forever, the normal low
speed gets going, then the moose calls start, they talk a bit, and
then I seem to send some tones and it starts again with the PEP
calls. It continues for about 15 seconds until he times out.
He has his wait for carrier set at 70 seconds. I set register 99
to 1 as per another mention here, but that didn't help.
I know I saw mention of this in the past, but since I didn't have a
T2500 then, I didnt' take proper notice.
I can call another tb+ and no problems, and have NO problems with
my main feed which is a t2500, and also a sub-feed going out to an
HST dual standard with v.32 and v.42.
Hints anyone?
