hello! i am looking for help in connecting a ventel pathfinder to telebit 2500s in PEP mode. i am using the roms from 10/22/87 :-) while the tb2500s that i am trying to connect to are in the latest version G7? anyways i know i can connnect in 2400 with no problem when s50=0 but i can only connect FAST with ONE tb2500, which doesn't have the latest roms, when s50=265, whoops 255! according to the sysadmin here (world.std.com) the tb2500s answer in the following sequence/... v.25 guard tone < i 'think' this is the problem v.25 answer tone v.32 v.22bis bell 212 bell 103 PEP maybe the v.25 tones are messing up the ventel like pep tones mess up slower 2400 modems?? .
