A friend has just acquired a T2500 for his Se/30 and after connecting it (with the obligatory hardware handshake cable), we called another Telebit system yet found that we only got a max transfer rate of 45%. This, of course, confused us a bit. All the registers seem to be set properly, and we can't seem to see any reason why it would behave as such. If you have a T2500 set up with an '030 or fast Mac and are getting faster speeds, please send me (in E-mail) your setup as well as the configuration of your cabel so we can double check. You don't provide nearly enough information here. What exactly do you mean by a 45% transfer rate? Are you using a file transfer utility like [xyz]modem or kermit? What terminal program? I have used both a Telebit T1000 and a Trailblazer Plus and have been getting 1400 cps with Zterm0.85 and zmodem transfers (using the TB+). -- _________________________________________________________________________ Dan Peterka S-CUBED 3398 Carmel Mtn Rd. dan@scubed.com (619) 587-8338 San Diego, CA 92121 _________________________________________________________________________
