Hi. I just purchased a Smart One 2400bps modem over the weekend at the Computer Market Show in Pomona Fairplax. It only cost me $58 plus tax. When I got home and opened up the box, the modem inside and the user's manual is for a Super Modem. I was wondering if Smart One modems are manufactured by the same company as the Super Modem, or if the modem had been swaped. I installed in (it is an internal modem) my computer, and it works fine. If they are not manufactured by the same company, does anyone know which one is better? (If the Supter Modem is not better than the Smart One modem, then I am going to bring it down to the store I got it from and get an exchange... but if it's better..well, I might just keep it!! :) Thanks in advance.
