I'm interested in finding out what might be in the pipeline at Telebit. I need to get a modem to handle both PEP and V.32 so I'm looking at T2500's. I've read stuff to the effect that the T2500 uses a daughterboard for V.32, while the T1600 uses an improved V.32 running in firmware (w/o PEP). Anyone know if Telebit will be upgrading/improving the 2500 along the lines of the 1600? Will it be a new modem, or an upgrade applicable to existing ones? What other considerations might there be in terms of features to wait for? I'm in no big rush, just want to make sure I don't get a limited product and then find a new model on the market 2 months after I buy (story of my life...).
