Has anyone discovered the mysteries of any undocumented registers on the T1600 yet? Its been reported here that AT~D1 is the replacement for the TB+ ATJ6J0. When I try it, I get no data, just an OK. In general the diagnostic information seems pretty meager, even compared with the TB+. Despite what the doc says, S70 and S72 (the send/receive rates) clear after a connection drops (and DTR is dropped in response) and before a new connection is attempted. Though you can still get some info from S74, S75, S78. There doesn't seem to be any register for getting info on the compression to see how effective it has been, or set parameters to tune it. I called Telebit to ask, and the tech I talked to just didn't know anything about any of this. -- Ken Mandelberg | km@mathcs.emory.edu PREFERRED Emory University | {rutgers, gatech}!emory!km UUCP Dept of Math and CS | km@emory.bitnet NON-DOMAIN BITNET Atlanta, GA 30322 | Phone: Voice (404) 727-7963, FAX 727-5611
