My organisation is planning to purchase a pair of Telebit modems, one in the US and the other in the UK. My understanding is that the dist'r for Telebit in the UK is Dowty (spelling ?) which they sell under their own name. My questions are as follows: 1. The T2500 seems to be the best modem available, supporing PEP and V.32. Do Dowty have a T2500 equivalent. 2. Does anybody have experience with UK/US transfers using these products. Howe well do they perform. We will most likely be using uucp. 3. What is better for such long haul transfers. V.32 or PEP 4. Is there a better solution. Thanks in advance --
