Howdy-
A minor emergency has forced me to try to resurrect an ancient ven-tel 212
modem for use on an hp workstation. We used to use this modem for uucp 5-6
years ago, but now I can't seem to get any response from it. My guess is that
I've got the wrong switch settings, but of course I've no docs for this modem,
and the switch and light labels are really cryptic (to me). Can anyone out
there tell me what the front switches and lights on this modem do?
Here's what the front looks like:
5 switches: 8 lights:
HS DL RDL ST AL TM MC HS RD SD MR TR MB
There are also 2 sets of dip switches inside the modem (10 switches each).
any ideas?
