I'm experiencing problems with MegaHertz 2400 baud built-in modems for Toshiba 1200 computers and UUCP. Using both UUPC 1.09c and Waffle 1.63 to connect to my unix system, I get carrier drop on the laptop about 10 seconds into the transmission of UUCP packets. The modem seems to work fine with packages like Procomm Plus 2.0. I've tried all the register setups I can think of, and am pursuing the problem with MegaHertz as a possible hardware problem. This is occurring on two different T1200's and two different MegaHertz modem boards. Can anybody come up with any suggestions for additional things to try or workarounds?
