Someone gave me an Anchor Volksmodem 12, and I wanted to see if I could use it. I don't know what command set it uses, and *hope* it is Hayes compatible. There are three dip-switches on the back, and I don't have any idea what they do. questions: 1. has anybody out there used this modem? 2. what are the three dip switches for? 3. is it hayes compatible? if not, then what is it compatible with? please send email, and i'll summarize and post if there is enough interest. thanks, Loren Miller MILLERL@wharton.upenn.edu
