I have some literature on the US Robotics V.32bis modem which says that it is compatible with V.32bis at 14.4, 12.0, 9.6, 7.2 and 4.8 Kbps, and V.32 at 9.6 and 4.8 Kbps. It says absolutely nothing about compatibility with V.22 or V.22bis at 2400 baud. Does anyone know if the USR V.32bis modem or any other V.32bis modems can communicate with 2400 baud V.22/V.22bis modems? I tried the USR hotline, but have been playing phone tag for a week.
