I need some help with digging up some information: First of all Communications programs for Unix/Xenix with scripting, file transfers and logging capabilitys (non UUCP) I need to hear from users of Profesional YAM and other products for your input on quality power and ease of use. On a related note I am evaluating US robotics Intel Multitech and Hayes for their V.32(bis) modems. Does anyone have any input? Here's what I have so far: Intel 9600EX looks good for the price. US Robotics courier V.32bis only modem with V.32bis (14400bps standard) popular company good reputation. Multitech V.32 - solid performer remote configuration (important for me) Hayes Ultra 9600 - solid modem but pricey Are there others I should consider? The Multitech v-32 comes in two models. Please be aware of the differences.

MT932eab V-32 mnp 3-5 V-42bis List Price $899 4-1 data compression
I highly recommend the extra money for the bottom unit as it is much more
flexible in supported standards.
