[comp.dcom.modems] Procomm or Modem Problem

This is usually caused by having another COM port at the same address
in your PC.  Perhaps your machine has another COM2 built in or there is
a COM2 port on another expansion board.  You need to either disable the
other port or change it to another address.

	Check the modem setup sequence in Procomm.  Make sure it is sending
	the proper ATXn code.  Some modems support up to ATX4 result codes
	and some go to ATX9.  Check your modem manual. I assume you are
	connecting up ok, just not seeing the response message ? The Duplex
	setting has nothing to do with the response messages.
