For what it is worth, I located a source for the NS16550AFN from Hamilton Express (wholesale/mailorder electronics supply house in Orlando, FL). They have plenty in stock and they go for $9.95/chip! Minimum $20 order. The lady I spoke with was Monica and she was quite helpful. I ordered 7 and should get them in the morning. BTW, they have an 800 number: 1-800-332-2367. Mark. -- Mark J.
