We are trying to get a Telebit T1600 modem running
UUCP under ATT SYSV 3.2.1
We have UUGETTY running on the modem port.
The T1600 in set up for UUCP SYS V HDB using
the pre-stored configuration in the T1600.
The modem is running off of an ATT ports board with
hardware flow control.
However after a UUCP transfer that goes perfect
the lock file in /usr/spool/locks is not removed.
If we remove it, it just reappears over and over.
Any ideas????

If it's for the port, then make sure that: (a) The modem is hanging up the phone line (not staying connected after DTR turns off), and (b) The modem's &Cx setting is not being changed by the dial-out chat script. The uucico get terminated and the uugetty starts up like it is supposed to do at the end of a uucp transfer.
