O wise gods of the network, lend me your knowledge... I have in my posession a pair of Gandalf DS 120 modems, for which I have no documentation whatsoever. I realize that these are not Hayes-compatible or in any way bleeding-edge technology, but I would like to see if I can use them for some short-haul work. What I need to know is this: 1) If anyone would still have a manual for one of these (not likely).. 2) If anyone out there in netland remembers anything about these at all. I can probably get them quasi-functional without too much effort, but I'd like to know how much work I'm letting myself in for. A bird in the hand (or modem in the desk) is better than two in the bush only if you can use it... Thanks to all and sundry on the net.
