[comp.dcom.modems] MNP-5 upgrade

	Just another stupid question from a beginer in the modem world:

	I have an Evercom 24+ modem (MNP-3). Is it possible to upgrade
the hardware to MNP-5, which I beleave would give about 2 times the
speed (or is that just a myth?)
