[comp.dcom.modems] Toshiba Internal Modem.

Has anybody any experience with the TC-2400 internal modem for the Toshiba
T1000XE ? I have had a number of these fail for no apparent reason. In 
addition they don't seem to be able to recognise the engaged tone.
