I am using Procomm Plus to dial into a unix machine from an IBM PC clone. When I try to download a text file using the ZMODEM protocal, it seems to default to the binary mode. This results in the text file having an carat-M at the end of each line. I cannot find anywhere in the Procomm Plus manual where it tells how to turn this switch off. I have found it in other communications packages before. Does anyone out there know how to toggle this mode? Please send all replies via email directly to me and I will post a summary of answers later. Also, please excuse me if this subject has been discussed before, I just recently started looking at the USENET. ----- Jeff Beusse (919) 677-8000 x7722 snojnb@mvs.sas.com SAS Institute Inc. I indicated in a previous message that I had heard that ProComm 2.1 was shipping to fix the bugs in 2.0. Well, not quite. It's shipping, but they're calling it 2.01. -- Standard disclaimer applies, you legalistic hacks. | Ron Dippold
