Is it possible to use any of the follows modems? on a public dialup phone line? I'm hoping to be able to purchase one of the following to replace an old 1200 baud modem at home (for dialing in to work from a pc). The modems on the receiving end a hayes compatable 2400 baud. Paradyne Challenger 2400 Paradyne MPX 4800 Paradyne up9600rp (master) Com-link II thanks...any info would be greatly appreciated. Bill Walton walton@stat.fsu.edu
