The %T command in a USR modem is used while the modem is off hook -- the
DSP chip can correctly identify DTMF 0 through 9, the pound sign (octothorpe)
and the asterisk.  I don't know about the A,B,C and D buttons from the
Autovon network, though.  (and I'm not sure about the MF keyset either --
I sort of doubt it, right Floyd?)

Since CallerID information is relayed before the ring cycle begins, you
can't use this modem to decode it (without rewiring the modem).
