I've recently installed A/UX on my Mac at home and have met with limited success in calling into the machine from elsewhere. I've got a USR HST-DS connected to /dev/tty0 and have had to resort to setting Q2 to keep result codes (and E0) from causing getty to call login. (getty sees echoes coming back from the port and endlessly calls login -- locking the port so I can't use cu. Is there are version of getty that's been successfully used with the USR modem or is there someone working on one that wouldn't mind letting me use it? Am I in the right place with this question? Is this the right question to be asking? Did Louise actually have a twin sister? Will Sandra and Bill get back together even though she poisoned his mother's favourite shetland pony?
