[comp.dcom.modems] What's a 1200 bps modem worth these days?

siegel@stsci.EDU (Howard Siegel) (06/20/91)

Now that I've made the jump to 9600 bps, I'm going to box up the old
2400 bps and store it away just in case. So what do I do with the
older 1200 bps that I kept as a standby? Just what is a Prometheus
ProModem 1200 External worth on the open market these days?

A new 1200 baud external modem goes for ~40-60 bucks. Scale down...so,
virtually nothing.
