I recently purchased a lear siegler adm3a terminal and I have been having trouble with it. Whenever the terminal receives a control`g`, it begins scrolling the text on the screen in reverse and, when it does this, garbled text from the screen is sent from the terminal. Has anyone had this problem? -- Mark Jablow {allegra,philabs,cmcl2}!phri\ Big Electric Cat Public Unix {bellcore,cmcl2}!cucard!dasys1!mjablow New York, NY, USA {philabs}!tg/

You're triggering the RAM-dump feature. You need to be sure your RS-232-C connector does not supply a signal to one of the pins that controls this (I forget which pin; it's in the technical manual).
