mpm@hpfcmp.HP.COM (Mike McCarthy) (06/23/87)
I am looking for either a "terminfo" description file or
"termcap" entry for a Tektronix 4107 terminal. Please either
post such here, or send via electronic mail to the address
below. (While the target computer system runs an implement-
ation of System V, I can convert a "termcap" entry to the
corresponding "terminfo" description.
If one of the existing entries in "termcap" for Tek ter-
minals is acceptable (with or without modifications, please
let me know. Our "termcap" database shows the following
entries for Tektronix terminals:
4012, 4013, 4014, 4015, 4023, 4024, 4025, 4027
The local "terminfo" library contains all the above plus
an entry for The Tek 4112.

Doesn't the Tek4107 have an ansi mode (CODE ANSI)? If it does use it and set TERM to vt100. Tom.

Re: TERMINFO entry for Tek terminal
NOTES works again! (We say that all the time around here.)
Thanks to two gracious employees of Tektronix I now have both
TERMINFO and TERMCAP entries for the Tek terminal in question.
Thanks also to the info about the VT-100 emulation mode for that
terminal. I will pass this on to our end user.

Re: acknowledgements
I would like to personally thank the following people for
their responses to my request:

I tried contacting each of you via electronic mail, but the
"hplabs" system was unable to send mail to any of these ad-
dresses.
