------ Many years ago, I saw a new product announcement in a computer magazine (could it really have been creative computing?) for a new sort of keyboard - rather than being a flat array of keys, it was made of two half-spheres with buttons arranged so that they'd be directly under the fingers had the ability to produce the full ascii character set, and probably used as rs232 interface. For some reason Dvorak comes to mind as being associated with it, but it is certainly NOT the well-known Dvorak keyboard setup - it's possible that the arrangement of keys on the hemispheres is dvorak-related. A friend of mine has a physical disability that prevents handwriting or using a standard keyboard shape for any length of time - this alternate shape could be a solution to this problem. Any info would be helpful. -Mike Thome mdth@tut.cc.rochester.edu mthome@bbn.com
