If anyone is running a user mode (no kernel changes) layers (mpx, layers...etc)
on 4.3 BSD I have a new version that is a much more complete (this was written
for the 630 MTG release). The major change is besides supporting the 5620
and 630 MTG (yes there are subtle, but noticable differences in the layers
protocol) it has libwindows host agent calls support and lan encoding works.
(it is also a bit faster and a little smaller and still requires no kernel
work).
SInce there is a small piece of ATT code in it you will need a DMD license
from ATT. It works on 4.3 vaxes, suns, celerity, cci, and gould
(not on pyramids though since they still only have a 4.2 tty_pty.c in their
kernel. you can buy a kernel mode xt driver from them for $$$$). It will be
ready sometime after Jan 4. Send me mail or call if you are interested and I
can give you the details.
Note: if you have gotten the 630 MTG software release for 4.3 from ATT, you
will get this layers.
