As the subject line indicates, I have a wyse 99 gt (graphics terminal) and need the TERMCAP for it. Any useful hints anyone has for the terminal would also be appreciated, the user manual is not in its final draft from what I have heard (and experienced). Thanks in advance, - Kevin kscott@cgl.ucsf.edu ucbvax!cgl!kscott

In article <10634@cgl.ucsf.EDU> kscott@cgl.ucsf.edu (Kevin Scott) >writes: As the subject line indicates, I have a wyse 99 gt (graphics >terminal) and need the TERMCAP for it. Here's the termcap. I returned the Wyse-99 though, virtually useless documentation, broken keyboard mapping in tek4010 mode (try sending <esc> or <delete>), and most importantly the graphics screen wasn't visible unless one went to tek4010 mode, which disabled the ascii screen and forced one to edit on an overstiking terminal. The terminal also had severe problems with parity bits. Tek mode produced 'spider-webs' instead of real graphs when presented with a parity bit that wasn't zero. (I had to rewrite a local plotting package, so I could output data to the terminal without ouputting even parity.)
