I have (at home) a VT100 clone with an auxiliary RS232 port
that's connected to a printer that accepts Epson and IBM
escape sequences to get into special print modes.
It seems that when the terminal is in send to printer mode,
escape sequences that I send from the host are interpreted
by the terminal with possibly bad effects.
Is there a way to send arbitrary escape sequences to the printer?
Can I quote VT100 escape sequences?
        If I set the set-mode b, group 2, position 1 to make
control characters visible (rather than invisible),
then is there a way for my program running on the host
that is sending the data to get the terminal out of this
mode when the file is finished printing?
Or, should I just get an a/b switch.
(The terminal is a CIT-101e)
Thanks,
Bill
