I'm working on a data-retrieval application. I was wondering if there is a
terminal which can be programmed to require an on-screen form to be filled in
and will then chat through the serial port.
I'd like the terminal to simply ask for the retrieval key and then have the
terminal dial a preprogrammed number, handshake through a login and data
request, and display the results on the screen. I can do it with a PC, but
am wondering if there's a "better" tool for the job.
