We are considering buying some HDS3200 series terminals and would like to know what experience others have had with them. Specifically, we would like to know about their reliability. If you have had one for any amount of time has it required much maintenance? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, -- J. They were complete junk. Many broke within the warranty period, the rest shortly there- after. Today there are only six or so still running (most of which were repaired serveral times. Repairs were board replacments at $150- $300 a shot. HDS was completely unresponsive to our complaints. Needless to say, they get a thumbs-down from me. -- Stu -- Stuart McGraw, mcgraw@hilbert.gte.com GTE Labs, Waltham MA {hsuc6,harvard}!bunny!hilbert.gte.com!mcgraw (617) 466-2525 sjm0%gte-labs.csnet@csnet-relay

I spoke with someone recently about HDS's who also bought/buys the 2000 line. He noted the same problem with reliability - of *older* units. He said that reliability is much better these days.
