I have a couple of questions regarding ATT modems. If you can
help please respond to

The modems in question are:
o ATT autocall 2224 A modems
The questions are:
1) what patches need to be done to uucico in order for it to use these
modems.
2) What are the correct switch settings - dial out, dial in , both.

I believe the 2224A modem is functionally identical to the 2224B. Install the following line in /usr/lib/uucp/Dialers (if you are running Honey-Danber uucp): 2224b =+-, "" \d\r\d : \p\T\r\c Then, depending upon your system configuration, you would probably have the following entries in /usr/lib/uucp/Dialers: ACU ttyXX - 1200 2224b ACU ttyXX - 300 2224b ACU ttyXX - 2400 2224b Assuming your uucp works already with other modems, then it should work with the above.
