I recently posted a request for info on vtxxx soft set loading. (recap: I want to be able to set/reset the "edge" bits that normally you can't. (cursive or replacement box font wanted)) I got only one response, who said that the last two bits were forever tied together (he found this out through experiment) but couldn't tell me how to set them. I've lost this person's name (Me and post-its DON'T mix!) and would like to solve this problem still.
