Well, someone is asking about a Wyse terminal... I might as well post about my Visual 603s. I have eight Visual 603s (which, I think, are nearly identical to Visual 601, 602, and 630 terminals, except for the keyboards and ROMs). I have had four of them fail; the first one was returned under warranty and the video/power supply board was replaced. One of the others has a dead video/power supply, one has no video (the same board, I assume, just a different failure), and one has a dead lithium cell used for backing up the parameter memory (not a big problem). Does anyone out there know what's causing the video board on these terminals to go bad? If it's something simple and cheap, I'd like to avoid paying Visual $200 (I think) each to fix them. While I'm at it, what's the latest ROM version for the 603?
