[comp.terminals] Don't buy the 603!

Well, the folks down the hall from me bought six Visual 603 terminals --
biggest mistake they ever made. They were in the shop more than they
were in use. They highly recommend that you DON'T buy Visuals.
One terminal you might consider is a MicroTerm FE 4560. They are very
nice white on black terminals which do Tek 4014 emulation. The only
problem is that there is a design flaw which causes the power supply
to fry one year after you buy them, but MicroTerm has probably fixed
that bug by now -- ask them. (The terminals come with a 2 year warranty -
all five of our microterms fried within a two week period -- they were
fixed under warranty). Other than that, they have been dependable.

My experience with Visual 102's and 300's (non-graphic terminals) has
been similarly dismal. Other than the unreliability, we like them :-)
