I have several TeleVideo 970 terminals which I would like to upgrade as much as possible. Examining the motherboards of these terminals, I notice no less than 14 empty places on the motherboard where chips or connectors could be installed. There are also numerous jumpers which could be either bridged or cut if extra circuitry was installed. I would like to know what upgrade options are available for these terminals, and how to install them. I know that upgrade options were available for the 970 (when it was still supported by TeleVideo to add an RS-422 connector, more memory, and even a mouse. I would like to find information about exactly how these upgrades are performed, and what parts are needed.
