About a month ago, we acquired several ADM 11 and ADM 5 terminals from a local financial institution. Unfortunately, the few manuals that they had went to the first surplus scroungers to arrive on the scene. We found enough termcap information to get both terminals going for most purposes, such as vi. The ADM 5 seems straight forward enough, except that it would be nice to know the escape sequences to turn the printer port on and off. There is a lot about setting up an ADM 11 that we don't know and haven't been able to guess. We can access one setup screen that can control key click, online, cursor blink, and how the status line appears. We don't know how to change baud rate, parity, half/full duplex, etc. (We have accidentally gotten one terminal to change to half duplex and can't get it back to full duplex.) The function keys on each ADM 11 seem to emit something different, indicating that they are programmable. But how? Please email any advice short enough to email. If somebody out there can spare a copy of the manual or knows where we can one for these old beasts, that would clear up a lot of questions quickly. ____________ Roger Droz UUCP: uw-beaver!gtisqr!roger Maverick MICRoSystems / Global Technology International () () 8217 44th Ave West.
