I have a Data General DG211 terminal and a 1200 baud modem that I took home for my girlfriend to use. (So she can call the public access Unix in my hometown and send talk to me -- how sweet! :-) ) Anyway, my problem is that the system she has to call wants an even parity connection. I have no docs for the terminal (Hey, I paid $5 for it!) and I don't know if it's possible to make the term do even parity or not. If anyone here has experience with Data General terminals or has their docs handy, please send me email... My only other options are to find another public access Unix machine in Dallas (which isn't easy) or build a box to CREATE even parity for the terminal, which I don't want to do a whole lot either.... Thanks... Greg ---------------Greg-Harp---------------greg@ccwf.cc.utexas.edu---------------- AMIGA! // // Don't you just hate those long signature files? I mean, there oughta \X/ be a law.
