I am helping a non-profit group with some donated equipment. They have a TRS-80 Model 2000 computer, dual floppies, CM-1 color monitor, and a CGP-220 color printer. How PC compatible is this computer. It runs MS-DOS 2.11, but locks-up when with CGA programs. The BASIC demos run okay in color, but the Deskmate V1.01 runs only in gray and some lines of characters in the menus are not visible. 1. Is there a newer version of Deskmate that would work better ? 2. Does anyone have any software for this machine, cheap ? 3. Is the CGP-220 compatible with any standard ? (Canon Inkjet ?)
