It appears my first post of this message failed so here is a resubmission.
If this is a duplicate message  Ooops...

There are some configuration issues worth checking.

	1) After setting up the terminal, did you save the settings?
	   A hard reset issued by a program may destroy the settings.

	2) Did you set the device attributes response to VT220?
	   If the host requests the terminal type and it receives a 
	   response that it does not recongize it may go into "dumb"
	   teminal mode.

	If the previous suggestions do not help, please call Microterm
customer support at 1-800-325-9056.
