[comp.terminals] Small console terminals

m1rcd00@fed.FRB.GOV (Bob Drzyzgula) (04/24/91)

Could someone recomend a small, cheap terminal to use as a console for
a Sun server? I have Wyse 30s now, but need something even smaller.
Emulation isn't a big deal, but I need to be able to run vi and
communicate at 9600 baud. I really need physical terminals, as opposed
to some scheme for multiplexing the function on a PC or something...

Televideo used to make a very small terminal designed for executives'
desks. Unfortunately, they are out of production and somewhat rare.
But if you could latch onto one it would be ideal. Maybe somebody
remembers the model number. As an alternative, maybe an old Mac
running Kermit would work--they're pretty small.
