Hello net world:
I am looking for a solid terminal that can meets the following
requirments:
- Some standard terminal emulation (vt220 or something common)
- can handle RS-232 and RS-422 or RS-423
- 38400 bps is a must (19200 if it can keep up for a whole
screen worth of data).
- has a PC101 keyboard layout (IBM enhanced keyboard)
- can generate a unique ascii sequence (you know, like escape
sequences) for all the function keys F1-F12, insert-home-
...Page Down, arrow keys, print-screen scroll-lock and
pause keys
- must also generate key sequences for SHIFTed keys mentioned
above, ALTed keys above, and CTRLed keys above.
Basically, I want a terminal that can use the same keyboard map for UNIX
WordPerfect as IBM-PC WordPerfect, and other common applications (like
3270 emulation).
Any takers? any happy users? please e-mail
to bminnebo@vela.acs.oakland.edu.
Thanks in Advance!
