I've had about 12 or so requests for the hacked-up version
of uuslave that I've been working on. I haven't had time to set it
up for testing, but I've worked the code over heavily, and have
even made a few lint-improvements. I'm posting it in net.sources with
a "no guarantee" policy.
I got curious on the innnards of uucp when I started playing
with this stuff. The SUN manuals have a lot of good stuff in the
/usr/doc section, incl. a decent description of the protocol.
For those who want to flame me, please E-mail to me, rather
than kluge up the net.

As such, most other vendors *should* be supplying that stuff. It also doesn't describe the "g" link-level protocol used by UUCP, and without that there are limits on whom you could talk to using UUCP.
