Have been attempting to connect a vms machine to ours(Ultrix) using uucp. Have created an L.sys entry that looks as follows: merrimack Any ACU 1200 phone# "" \s\r ame:-\s\r-ame:-\r-ame: userid ssword: pass uucico is unable to log on to the vms machine. The vms machine does not respond to anything - spaces, breaks, cr's. Have checked the login sequence on the vms side using tip, works every time. Have also checked to see that the same number is being used. Below is the output of the uucico execution with flag -x9. The other machine does not seem to respond to any of the output that is send to establish login. Have checked the login sequence by tip'ing to this Looking for a little inspiration in resolving this problem.
