I am attempting to get uupc working on the Atari ST with no real success. I have managed to get this program to compile, it does connect and get through the init sequence. What it will not do is actually transfer files. Can anyone point me to a description of just exactly what uucp's 'g' protocol is, and what is expected from it? I have G.L. Chesson's Protocol Desctiption, and Andrew Tanner's description of the messages, but these don't seem to get much further than the init sequence. Please, no flames about uupc being broken, I know it is. It seems to be pretty darned close to working, and that is what counts right now. Maybe when GNU uucp is officially released someone will port it to my machine, but for the time being I need a dial-out uucp that will work and that I can modify to suit my own needs.
