Where can a brave sole find a description of the output from the -x option of uucico? I'm sure this output means something, but what I'm not sure? As you might have guessed I'm trying to debug a uucp link and have hit a wall. In a nutshell I can communicate sucessfully at 1200 baud with a neighbor, but not at 2400. My uucp LOGFILE is filled with messages to like: > scbhq!root (3/1-13:05:40) (C,13940,1) BAD READ (expected 'S' got FAIL) > scbhq!root (3/1-13:05:40) (C,13940,1) FAILED (conversation complete) > scbhq!root (3/1-13:35:27) (C,14024,1) BAD READ (expected 'C' got FAIL) > scbhq!root (3/1-13:35:27) (C,14024,1) FAILED (conversation complete) When I run uucico with -x9 at 1200 I see the block being sent and the ack, but at 2400 I get the following: > *** TOP *** - role=0, setline - X > rmesg - '' rec h->cntl 34 > bad header 37777777621,h->ccntl 123 > rec h->cntl 37777777631 [LOTS of this type diagnostic deleted] > rec h->cntl 34 > rec h->cntl 37777777631 > rec h->cntl 10 > state - 6000 > got FAIL > cntrl - -1 > enter us_sst, status is : 10 > s.sysname : scbhq > TM_cnt: 0 > send OO -1,imsg >\ 20 \ 11 \242 \252 \ 10 \ 11 \ 20 OOOOOO\ 0 exit code 0 How do I figger' this one out. thanks ahead, Brad Turner ...!gatech!sbmsg1!\ UUCP: scbhq!bschp!root ............ihnp4!/
